Buying bulletproof backpacks for your children should be like setting up security systems in your home, says CEO of self-defence brand Guard Dog Security, whose gun-resistant products are sold across the US.
The Proshield collection of bullet-resistant backpacks for school-goers is manufactured by Florida-based personal security brand Guard Dog Security.
The products are advertised as being designed for “student’s everyday carry”, looking just like a regular backpack with a laptop sleeve and organisational pockets, yet boasting level IIIA (a type of soft armour) protection.
